Dream came to the ranch in March 2005. She was just 6 years old and weighed just over 400 lbs. Dream delivered a dead foal the week before and had severed her right eyelid on a fencepost. She had not been treated by a vet. Our vet met us at the ranch and trimmed the dead tissue and sewed her eyelid together hoping it would take, and she could keep it. It worked and she healed just fine, inside and out. She came in with a loving trusting spirit and has been a joy to work with.
