Big Joe was rescued in April 2007 in cooperation with the Cass County Sheriff's Dept. He was in very bad shape. He was terribly malnourished and only weighed 860 lbs. With a lot of TLC he was nursed back to health. Big Joe is about 25 years old. He has some arthritic issues but is otherwise strong and healthy! He is very gentle, loving and people oriented. He is a favorite with some of our youngest guests. |
